My sister-in-law had a baby a few months ago. I decided that I would make him a cross stitch birth record. I went to Michael's and got a kit that I thought would be really cute. I picked out
Dimensions kit, the
toy shelf birth record. I thought I should start early in September, then by December when the baby was born all I had to do was add the information. However with making a bunch of Christmas gifts I was unable to finish it in time. So I didn't finish the work until early in January, which I guess is still pretty good. When it was done I brought it into
Michaels to get framed. They had 60% off the framing price (the frame, matts, and everything) which was a huge help! The lady there was a great help and selected matt colours that I never would have thought of. They were also able to get it done for me just in time for the shower!
